While working with the ‘BEST’ photographers and make-up artists around the world, she watched, practiced, studied and learned… never having worn mascara before modeling she became an expert on application techniques. Fellow models would ask her to apply their make-up, style their hair; in return she asked to photograph them, beginning her passion for the art… |

As a make-up artist, she taught classes at The Fashion Institute of Technology and established an alternative career working with top magazines, models, stars and photographers. |

Needing to learn more about the art of photography she combined her modeling, make-up and styling skills to assist renowned fashion/advertising photographer Peter Vaeth in NYC. As his Studio Manager, she headed pre/post-production for national campaigns, which included castings, travel, equipment rental, permits, location scouting, and anything else needed to insure a flawless result. |

Having a busy schedule did not deter Maguire from pursuing other talents; she still found time to audition for TV and film, landing roles in “The Cosby Show”, “All My Children” and several national commercials. Her voice and song writing skills were recognized with a hit video on MTV international inspiring a tour throughout Europe. Eventually leading to a collaboration and production deal with producer Jonathan Elias of “Yes” and “Duran Duran” fame. |

Now back home in VA, She is an established commercial photographer, make-up artist and stylist. In the digital darkroom she creates custom web sites, graphics and logos. Studio 418, her homebase, doubles as an event venue. Whether she’s on a stage, catering an event, or photographing a wedding, she has a style like no other. Incorporating humor, fashion and creativity, Maguire sees through both sides of the lens. |
